Published: 1 December 2017 y., Friday

BS/2, a Lithuanian banking technology company and VisionLabs, one of the global leaders in face recognition have announced today a strategic partnership in creating the product line of interbank services for contactless identification that will greatly increase security and eliminate the risks connected to fraudulent or unlawful activities when operating self-service terminals.

ATMeye.iQ full-scale self-service video surveillance and fraud prevention system and LUNA face recognition platform will become the foundation of the introduced services. An integrated solution uses the existing portrait camera allowing carrying authentication and identification of the clients, enabling whitelisting possibilities for service engineers and CIT services while also not allowing the blacklisted persons to use the self-service terminals. Unified platform offers seamless integration of self-service terminals, security video surveillance systems, human resources management systems, campaign management systems and more.

The solution is capable of acquiring a wide range of depersonalized data about the users of the self-service terminals in the process of video stream analysis such as: gender, age, race, emotional response to an event. This data opens new opportunities for marketing research, loyalty programs KPI tracking, direct marketing campaign management and Customer quality of service evaluation in real time.

The ability to gather previously unavailable rich data from various sources and system events synchronization makes ATMeye.iQ and LUNA PLATFORM integrated solution unique. Data sources range from transaction and events data coming from self-service machines and branch offices to contactless person identification and non-stop statistically significant Customer data aggregation.

"Face recognition is increasingly gaining ground in the provision of banking services. Using this feature will enable banks and other financial institutions to provide their customers with additional security measures while performing operations and automate a number of business processes, says Tomas Augucevičius, Deputy General Manager of BS/2. - Integrating our .iQ family of products with the LUNA platform will give a new push to the development of the ATMeye.iQ video surveillance system, as well as the cash flow management system CashManagement.iQ and the service activities management system, Service Desk.iQ."

”Cooperation with BS/2 is an important stage in our financial sector portfolio of solutions development. Our partner has deep industry expertise and long experience which allowed us to create the joint product that meets today’s high market requirements,” says Alexander Khanin, VisionLabs C.E.O. «LUNA PLATFORM has already become a part of BS/2 certified solution and is available to any banking industry organization. Solution architecture unification will lay the groundwork for creating a number of the next generation of interbank services.”

ATMeye.iQ is an integrated hardware and software solution developed by BS/2 that provides additional safety and security for self-service devices and their users. The system monitors events in and around self-service devices 24/7, thereby reducing the risk of fraud and vandalism and helping to resolve disputes with customers. The ATMeye.iQ solution meets the requirements of the international Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS), it has been installed on approximately 70,000 ATMs around the globe.

VisionLabs is one of the global leaders in Computer Vision and Machine Learning with LUNA PLATFORM biometric data management system being their flagship product. VisionLabs state-of-the-art algorithm has ranked as one of the top face recognition technologies in the world according to NIST FRVT and LFW benchmarks. The company is known for using only self-developed DNN (Deep Neural Network) architectures and its proprietary FLOWer DNN inference framework as a part of its products and solutions. VisionLabs is one of the only 15 global leading Companies and Universities developing PyTorch – a deep learning framework.
