New partnership between ASHBURN International and SUNMI

Published: 17 August 2021 y., Tuesday

This July, ASHBURN International, which is part of the Penki Kontinentai Group, has signed a cooperation agreement with SUNMI, the world's fastest growing hardware manufacturer. SUNMI is an international company that develops modern, high-quality payment devices based on the Android platform.

Android-based payment devices are becoming increasingly popular around the world. Devices running on this operating system can act as multi-devices and can be equipped with various Android applications (e.g. store loyalty, shopper statistics, HR management, etc.).

Working internationally and seeing the growing demand for Android payment terminals with a modern design and extensive technical capabilities, ASH                          BURN International was looking for new opportunities and partners. User-friendly and modern design, excellent device quality, a wide range of devices, well-developed distribution channels all led to the choice of SUNMI as a reliable partner.

"We are currently working with several models of SUNMI Android payment terminals and we see great potential for these products. They are very high quality products for which our app has been developed. We foresee excellent future perspectives for these terminals by applying the full TransLink.iQ ecosystem", says Kristijonas Dunauskas, Head of Business Development at ASHBURN International.

SUNMI was founded in 2013 in China and is one of the subsidiaries of Xiaomi, a huge multinational company. It is a company dedicated to IoT (Internet of Things) technologies and aims to combine them with digital software solutions for business. Currently ASHBURN International is working with SUNMI P2, SUNMI P2 Pro, SUNMI Lite payment terminal models. SUNMI's product portfolio includes other payment terminals, as well as cash registers, self-service kiosks, scanners, etc., and it is expected that this partnership will open up even wider business opportunities in the future.
