Representatives of “Penki kontinentai” visited an Exhibition for Telecommunications and Information “Sviaz Expocomm 2014”

In mid-May, representatives of a group of companies “Penki kontinentai” visited an International Exhibition for Telecommunications, Control Systems, IT and Communication Services “Sviaz Expocomm 2014” that took place in Moscow. Specialists from the company that has more than two decades of experience in the Lithuanian and foreign telecommunications and IT services market learnt more about trends in the markets of Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe, innovations in the field of network equipment and data transfer, cloud technologies.

According to Ignatas Girnis, Head of the Technical Support Department of the company, the exhibition provides an opportunity to take a look at the latest products of global manufacturers and learn more about market trends in a single place. “For several years, we have been actively operating in IT and banking technology markets of European and Central Asian countries and constantly observing their trends. “Sviaz Expocomm 2014” exhibition is an excellent opportunity to take a look at the major network equipment manufacturers and their innovations as well as find new cooperation opportunities in a single place. We paid particular attention to data transfer equipment, modernization and upgrade of which is gaining more and more importance as the amount of data sent online increases and with the aim of offering better quality of telecommunications services to the customers”, said I. Girnis.

At the exhibition, Lithuanian specialists also learnt more about cloud technology. “Our IT services “ProfIT” that help companies to optimize their IT infrastructure are based on cloud technology. Therefore, we find interesting the solutions in this field, ideas of their developers and data security”, explained I. Girnis.

More than 500 companies from 26 countries introduced their latest products and services at the “Sviaz Expocomm 2014” exhibition. The main topics of the exhibition: telecommunications networks and technologies, data transfer and processing, communication technology, information systems and services, information security, video surveillance, etc.
