Algerian al Qaeda threat for China

Less than ten days after violent unrest in its Muslim Xinjiang region, China is warning its citizens in Algeria about possible attacks from al Qaeda.

 

A London-based consultancy said al Qaeda might target Chinese workers in retribution for the government's crackdown in Xinjiang.
