Bush: US to recover from tough times

President Bush, trying to calm fears after steep stock market declines, said the U.S. economy will recover in the long-term.

 

Speaking at Guernsey Office Products in Chantilly, Virginia, Bush also indicated he was coordinating with Europe -- dealing with financial market turmoil that has spread around the world.
