With scores of people killed by a suspected terrorist attack on the Moscow metro, Parliament's President Jerzy Buzek has condemned the attack and offered his and Parliament's condolences to the victims. Mr Buzek said "terrorism and the deliberate targeting of civilians can never be justified. You can never prove that you are right if you kill innocent, hard working people taking the metro early in the morning and going to work". He went on to say "I express our heartfelt, deep, sincere sympathy and condolences to the families". He also offered support to the Russian authorities.
