Fires threaten 10,000 homes in California

This wildfire in southern California is sweeping out of control through the mountains above Los Angeles.

It doubled in size in the early hours of Sunday, fuelled by the hot weather and dry brush. California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger says 35,000 acres have burned so far.
