Iraq cabinet backs US security pact

A new security pact between Iraq and the United States sets a timetable for the withdrawal of U.S. forces for the first time.  

 

America's military presence in Iraq will end on December 31st, 2011.

 

Iraqi government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said the timetable was fixed and couldn't and wouldn't be changed.
