Turkey IMF protests turn violent

Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of the Turkish capital showing their dismay towards the International Monetary Fund meeting.

But the protests soon turned violent. Police fired tear gas and water canons to disperse the crowd. Local media reports suggest some of the arrests were made after protesters threw petrol bombs.
