U.S. journalist freed in Iran

U.S.-born journalist Roxana Saberi, jailed in Iran, has been freed from prison, after having her sentence for spying reduced.

 

Saberi, who is a citizen of both the U.S. and Iran, was arrested after her press credentials expired.

 

She was later charged with espionage, a charge that can carry the death sentence.
