Danish Company Opens A Factory in Klaipeda Free Economic Zone

Danish company A.Espersen AS has opened a fish processing factory in the Free Economic Zone of the Lithuanian port city of Klaipeda.
The company has invested about EUR 4 million in the new factory and will process cod. In a year the company will reach its full capacity and will employ 150 people.
A.Espersen AS started its activities in 1939 and is one of the biggest fish processing companies in Denmark, with subsidiaries in Poland. It is famous for its high quality products.
In 2002 the turnover of the company was EUR 124 million.
