In the half year of 2005, SOCAR exported 1,102,700 tons of petroleum products to world markets, which is up 6.7% from a year earlier. 642,550 tons of total export fell to the share of oil-refining plant "Azerneftyag" (up 4.4% from January-June 2004), and 460,110 tons for marketing and economic operations agency of SOCAR (up10%). 
        Main SOCAR export items are as follows: diesel fuel – 603,000 tons, petrol – 157,380 tons, aviation fuel – 93,750 tons, black oil – 198,310 tons, bitumen – 13,700 tons, motor fuel – 20,140 tons, lubricants – 9,600 tons and butane – 6,760 tons.
