Bank DnB NORD A/S successfully completed the voluntary takeover bid in Lithuania‘s DnB NORD Bankas, increasing its holdings in its Lithuanian subsidiary to 99.84 percent through acquisition of shares from minority shareholders.
The voluntary tender offer of LTL 125 per share meant Bank DnB NORD A/S invested a further LTL 39.6 million into its Lithuania’s subsidiary.
During the voluntary tender offer, Bank DnB NORD A/S acquired 316,941 ordinary registered shares of AB DnB NORD Bankas, representing 6.17 percent of the authorized share capital. The voluntary tender expired on 19 March 2009.
