The Bank of Moscow's earnings under IAS amounted to RUR2.1bn (approx. USD73.5m) for the first half of 2005, 30 percent up from the first half of 2004, the bank's press service reported.
Its IAS assets surged by 55.6 percent to RUR218.6bn (approx. USD7.6bn) from the same period last year. The bank's own funds climbed by 55.5 percent to RUR21.3bn (approx. USD746m). Earnings per share increased to RUR15 (approx. USD0.52) in the reported period, up 25 percent from the corresponding period in 2004.
