Belarussian trade surplus $677.2 mln in Jan-Aug

The trade surplus in Belarus in January- August amounted to $677.2 million, compared with a deficit of $703.9 million in the same period last year, a source in the Belarussian Foreign Ministry told Interfax.

Belarussian foreign trade in January-August this year increased 10.7% year-on-year to $22.392 billion. Exports increased 18.2% to $11.535 billion, with imports up 3.8% to $10.86 billion.
