Bulgaria's foreign minister stressed on the importance of EU market access after Bulgaria joins the Union.
Solomon Passy pointed out that Bulgarian producers will have half a billion potential consumers within an arm's reach. The country recently brought to a conclusion its pre-accession negotiations, and January 1, 2007 was confirmed as entry date.
The minister voiced optimism about the way Bulgaria is keeping up with its reforms. The country is not likely to linger over accession after the fixed date, Passy told bTV channel.
