Disney eyes Hong Kong expansion

Walt Disney will invest almost half a billion U.S. dollars into its Hong Kong Disneyland, to bolster the park's prospects against a planned rival in Shanghai.

 

Hong Kong's park, which opened in 2005, has been accused of being far too small and unappealing to Chinese tourists given their unfamiliarity of Disney characters.
