Several Norwegian companies have established themselves in the Panevezys Industrial Park with the support of the Norwegian State Industrial Fund SIVA.
At present the Industrial Park occupies 10,000 m2 - a renovated part of a 42,000 m2 building, offering expansion possibilities. Other 8,000 m2 are available for immediate use for production or other business activities.
Norwegians have chosen Panevezys because of good transportation possibilities and qualified labour force.
Since March 2000, “Spilka Group’s” sewing company “Devarta” has been operating in the new premises. Two furniture companies will also soon start their operations. Other Norwegian companies are likely to follow.
