International Monetary Fund does not change its forecast that Lithuania's economy growth rate in 2004-2005 will be the fastest in the enlarged EU, but gives a further boost to the GDP growth rate forecast.
In its last review of the world economy "World Economic Outlook", IMF forecasts that Lithuanian GDP is going to increase by 7% this year compared to 2003 and is expected to keep this growth rate the year afterwards.
