According to preliminary data, investments in Moldova's fixed assets grew 8 percent to $403.4m in 2004, the republic's department for statistics and sociology has reported.
Investment activities increased, primarily thanks to the capital of enterprises and organizations in the private economic sector. Their share in the total volume of investments in the country's fixed assets was 67 percent.
