Moldovan industrial production advanced 6.4 percent in 2004 to USD1.415bn, the Statistics and Sociology Department of the republic announced.
State-run companies accounted for USD296m of that amount, up 16.7 percent from a year earlier, the Moldovan Ministry of Industry said. All industrial sectors showed increase in output in 2004. Food production advanced 2 percent to USD623m.
