Moldova and Macedonia agree to liberalize bilateral trade relations

Moldova and Macedonia have signed an agreement on free trade, which envisages gradual liberalization of bilateral trade as of December 31, 2007, sources in the Moldovan economy ministry told RBC. According to the ministry, most import taxes that are currently used by the sides in bilateral trade will be canceled when the agreement comes in force.
Negotiations on free trade between Moldova and Macedonia were initiated in 2002.
