Finnish Steel Group Opens A New Production Facility Near Vilnius

Rannila Lietuva owned by the Finnish steel group Rautaruukki opened new steel production facilities near Vilnius as Lithuania plays an important role in the expansion strategy of the company.
“The new production facilities would enable the company to almost double its production capacity to 6,000 tons of steel and have sales of EUR 11.3 million this year”, said G.Venskutonis CEO of Rannila Lietuva.
The group invested about EUR 2.2 million in the project. Rannila’s main products in Lithuania are roofing systems and straight steel roofings.
