Profitability level in the national economy of Belarus constitutes 7,5%, whereas the number of unprofitable companies rose over 47%, said the Minister of economy of Belarus, Vice-Premier Andrei Kobyakov at the government presidium’s meeting.
Kobyakov stated that out of the 16 crucial prognosis parameters 6 remain unfulfilled, including such paramount ones as GDP growth rates, agricultural production, investments into the main capital, import, sales of the produced goods and decrease in the GDP energy capacity.
The Minister also pointed out insufficient volume of investments, which he explained by the “unsatisfactory financial condition of the real sector of economy.” The situation with the attraction of foreign investments also leaves much to desire. There has been drawn $267mln of them, which constitutes only 35% as compared with the analogous period last year.
