Quanta chairman Barry Lam Wednesday painted a rosy future for the company, saying it_s high growth should continue and the firm hopes to be the world_s largest notebook producer in 2000.
"We aim to keep our high growth, upgrade our market share step by step, and to be the world_s No. 1 notebook computer maker in 2000," Lam told a news briefing in Quanta_s new plant in Linkou, a suburb of Taipei.
