Seminar discusses issues on interbank electronic credit market

Uzbek Banking Association held a seminar-training “Development of interbank electronic credit market and indices of interbank market: UZIBOR, UZIBID and UZIAR” on 25 August.

Saydullo Abdullaev, director-general of Uzbek Banking Association, opened the seminar.

Representatives of the Uzbek commercial banks, which signed memorandum on formation of interbank market indicesm participated at the seminar.

Currently 17 Uzbek commercial banks signed the memorandum. They are Asaka Bank, Uzpromstroybank, People’s Bank, Pakhta Bank, Ipoteka Bank, Capital Bank, UT Bank, Uztadbirkorbank, Turonbank, Uzprivatbank, Ravnaqbank, Gallabank, Trust Bank, Khamkor Bank and Universal Bank.

Within the framework of the seminar, presentation of UZIBOR, UZIBID and UZIAR was held for new participants of the system. After presentation the participants discussed issues on improvement of calculation indices and furter development of interbank electronic credit market.
