The Central European budget carrier SkyEurope Airlines said Tuesday that it would enter Poland's market May 1.
"With 40 million inhabitants, Poland is the largest market to join the European Union, but has remained so far underserved by low-cost airlines," said Christian Mandl, its chief executive. The airline now flies to 18 destinations in 12 countries from Bratislava and Budapest.
