Lithuania has the lowest inflation rate among the Baltic States

In December 2004, Lithuania’s inflation rate was 2.9% (compared to December 2003) while Latvia’s was 7.3% and Estonia’s 5%.
The data from the statistic departments in the Baltic States showed that Lithuania has the lowest average inflation rate of just 1.2%.
In 2004 Latvia’s inflation rate rose 6.2% and Estonia’s 3% compared to 2003.
