Frazer Institute ranks Lithuania as offering the same economic freedom as France

The world economic freedom rating by Frazer Institute from Canada puts Lithuania in the same position as France. Lithuania has moved 25 places up, compared to its position in the ranking a year before, and is now #44.
The economic freedom ranking of states is based on their legal structure, protection of property rights, monetary stability, foreign trade freedom, business regulations, loan and labour market regulation, etc.
Hong Kong is the leader in the rating, whereas Venesuela is in the last place. The current rating of 123 states is based on economic data for 2002.
