Lithuania reported the highest minimum monthly wages among the Baltic States for November, but old-age pensions remained much lower in this country than in Latvia and Estonia.
According to data provided by the Lithuanian Statistics Department, Lithuania's minimum monthly wages amounted to 107.5 US dollars in November, compared with 80.13 dollars in Latvia and 76.61 dollars in Estonia. Minimum monthly wages remained unchanged in the Baltic States in November versus the previous month.
Estonia posted the highest average monthly gross earnings for the third quarter, at 271.5 US dollars, compared with 264.4 dollars in Lithuania and 247.25 dollars in Latvia. Latvia reported the highest average monthly old-age pension for the third quarter, at 95.04 US dollars; old-age pensions in Estonia and Lithuania averaged 87.4 dollars and 78.22 dollars, respectively.
