Swiss-based electronics group moves its production facilities to Kaunas

Carlo Gavazzi, a Swiss-based electronics group, moved part of its production facilities from Denmark to Kaunas, expecting to increase competitiveness of its automation components unit.
The new production facility in Kaunas started operations in December 2003 and supplies Carlo Gavazzi’s marketing unit in Denmark. The company plans to invest around EUR 5 million in its Kaunas plant.
