Capital Intelligence Upgrades Lithuania’s Long-Term Currency Credit Standing

Capital Intelligence, the international emerging markets rating agency, has raised Lithuania’s long-term foreign currency rating to BBB from BBB-, and affirmed its short-term foreign currency rating of A3.
“The upgrade reflects the significant fiscal adjustment that has taken place in recent years and good economic prospects for sustained economic growth within an enlarged EU”, said a press release by Capital Intelligence.
