Kashkadarya-based Uktam Bank, open joint-stock commercial bank, joined Western Union money transfer system.
Today 17 commercial banks of Uzbekistan are subagents of Western Union, with over 320 points across the country, of which 85 operate in Tashkent city.
These are Aviabank, Aloqabank, Business Bank, Zamin Bank, Capital Bank, National Bank of Uzbekistan for Foreign Economic Activities, Parvina Bank, People’s Bank, Hamkorbank and others.
Western Union has 188,000 points in 190 countries.
