Universal Exchange Centre (UEC) under the Banks Association of Uzbekistan put up for sale almost 2,000 objects worth over 29 billion soums since its opening in August 2003, and more than 60% of all objects were sold.
The UEC has 8 branches, where about 130 brokers participate in the daily auctions through the single electronic exchange trade system.
The centre has agreements with almost all commercial banks of Uzbekistan on assistance in selling real estate and inventory holdings.
Among the largest deals at UEC auctions were sale of objects of debtors’ pawn real estate for the amount of 37.5 million soums by Turonbank and sale of building and property of Metalloplast LLC for the amount of 75 million soums by NBU’s Tashkent city branch.
