World Bank (WB) specialists are working on several projects, including those on investment and structural reforms, to be implemented in Azerbaijan, WB Executive Director Pietro Veglio told journalists on Friday.
Veglio said that the projects would be approved by the WB Management Board, then Board of Directors after their completion. These projects are planned to be implemented by 2006 under the “Strategy for Aid to Country” approved by the WB Board of Directors.
The purpose of the three-year strategy is to develop the country’s private sector, infrastructure and social sphere, including public health and education.
