ATMIA announces names of Judges for 2003 Security Awards

Applications and nominations for this year’s annual global ATM security awards will be evaluated by three independent international judges, from Australia, United States of America and the United Kingdom. All respected figures in the industry, the judges are: Tony Burke, Director of the Australian Bankers’Association, Kurt Helwig, Executive Director of the Electronic Funds Transfer Association (United States) and Lachlan Gunn, Managing Director of BenAlpin Ltd, a European security consultancy, and author of ATMIA’s White Paper on ATM Lifecycle Security. The international awards are for:
 ATM Security Best Practice
 ATM Security Best Technology
 Best Contribution to Promoting the Interests and Growth of the Industry in the field of ATM security
The aim of the awards, in association with ATMmarketplace.com, is to reward and recognise excellence in the industry. They are open to members and non-members. Proud past winners of ATMIA awards can be seen on ATMIA's Honour Roll on all of its regional websites. To enter, simply send a written motivation of no fewer than 500 words to Mike Lee at mike@atmia.com by Friday 12 September 2003 explaining why the applicant or nominee, whether an individual or a company, should be worthy of receiving an award in any of the selected categories. Messrs Burke, Helwig and Gunn will then select the winners and awards will be presented at ATM Sec 3, 13th-14th October, 2003 SAS Radisson Hotel, London, United Kingdom.
