ActivMedia reports that business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) website executives worldwide are increasingly using advanced technologies online. In 2001, a total of 22% used streaming audio and video -- up from just 9% in 2000. 17% of B2B websites are using streaming video while 14% of B2Cs are doing the same. Shopping cart functions (catalogs, cards and credit card processing) are being used by 38% of B2B websites and 60% of B2C websites.
