WatchGuard Technologies claims to have launched the world_s first hands-free managed security solution for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) based on its new Firebox II network security appliance and Global Security Manager software. When a business connects to the Internet and begins communicating with branch offices, customers or trading partners, it needs to protect the network against potential security breaches. The WatchGuard Security System provides a full suite of security options for service providers to offer their customers beyond just access control and a firewall - including Branch Office VPN, Remote User VPN, authentication services, Web access control and content filtering, and usage reporting.
