Check Point Software to Work With Intel to Deliver Gbit Security

Effort to Integrate Secure Virtual Network (SVN) Architecture with Intel Internet Exchange (IX) Architecture Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHKP ) today announced it is working with Intel Corporation (Nasdaq: INTC ) towards providing gigabit security performance for E-Business environments. Specifically, Check Point Software will integrate its Secure Virtual Network (SVN) architecture with the Intel(R) Internet Exchange(TM) (IX) architecture to provide customers with next-generation Internet security performance. The combination of Check Point's high-performance SVN architecture for Internet security and Intel's IX architecture, a platform for designing high-performance networking and communication products will accelerate the ability to transact high-speed, real-time E-Business activity over high-bandwidth networks. Today, Check Point Software has high-performance Internet security and E-Business solutions offering comprehensive security and full manageability without sacrificing performance. With this announcement, Check Point continues its industry leadership in providing advanced high-performance security solutions. In addition, through its work with Intel as a key member of the Intel IX developer's forum, Check Point Software will help integrate and drive new standards of Internet-security performance to gigabit levels needed in the future. The combination of the most comprehensive high performance Internet security infrastructure coupled with the industry's most powerful and flexible network processors will allow network managers to monitor, manage, and control the future volume of network traffic generated by the increasing growth of E-Business environments.
