30 th November, 2005 – A presentation of world leader company in smart card solution “Gemplus” took place at the “Penki kontinentai” conference center (Business center “Europa”, Konstitucijos ave 7, Vilnius). Represenative of the company financial services manager Michail Grochowski have presented “Gemplus” products and solutions: chip cards; ID cards; chip cards readers; new directions in chip cards technologies.

About “Gemplus”

Gemplus was founded in 1988, at the very start of the development of smart card technology.

In 2005, Gemplus was named the industry leader for a seventh consecutive year with a 27% market share.

Gemplus International SA (GISA) is incorporated in the Grand Duchy of Luxemburg, and has a number of subsidiaries and associates around the world.
