NTT Mobile Communications Network Inc. (NTT DoCoMo) [TOKYO:9437], the mobile arm of Japanese telecommunications giant Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corp. (NTT), unveiled the world_s first pedestrian navigation service using global positioning system (GPS) technology from US firm Snap Track Inc. Australian-owned digital photography software developer Ixla agreed to acquire 10 percent of Japan_s largest independent cable Internet ISP, Chiga Service Center.
