Linkbot Pro 4.0

Published: 18 February 1999 y., Thursday
Tetranet Software had the market for link checking software sewn up about as tightly as Microsoft did for operating systems...not by virtue of monopoly control in Tetranet_s case, but just because their Linkbot Pro product was so intuitive and powerful. So while many companies in that position might just sit there and gather up the money, Tetranet has been busy working on a new version. Linkbot Pro 4.0 is not just an improved version; they have added features that make perfect sense when you hear about them but you might never have thought to ask for ! Linkbot Pro sells for $295, which includes a year of free updates directly off Tetranet_s Web site. Needless to say, attempting to run a site of almost any size is a difficult enough task, but if you have links to pages on other sites, things can go to heck in a hurry without some software support. Most top authoring tools (such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver, Fusion, and HomeSite) have some link checking capabilities, but none of them can begin to approach the single-purpose intensity of Linkbot Pro.
