Australian OzSearch Internet Guide began a new round of financing in an effort to expand its online presence after recent success at the US Internet World exhibition. OzSearch was one of five companies selected to participate in Internet World_s "hottest Internet start-ups" exhibit held in Los Angeles. OzSearch managing director K. Duggan used the opportunity to present his vision for the Australian Internet market to over 300 entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and corporate and media representatives. "We are thrilled to present to the rest of the world the Internet opportunities that abound in Australia. OzSearch plans to capitalise on this interest in this current round of financing which will enable us to increase our service offerings and expand our channels of distribution," said Duggan. OzSearch expects to gain significant interest from corporate entities for its round of financing. "In addition to offering our investors an exciting investment opportunity, we are also seeking to develop corporate relationships fundamental to our growth strategies," added Duggan. OzSearch Internet Guide currently has commerce and content arrangements with local entities such as Bertini-Murray & Co., AutoWeb, Start Corporation, Brisbane Internet Technology, SprintWeb, Radio 2GB and KMA Corporation.
