“Unicaster” software created by Penki kontinentai, UAB is used for transmitting the events via the web cameras at computers’ WAP mobile phones’ and huge ACM outdoor screens. The software is of two main parts: broadcasting and receiving, which are united and coordinated by “Unicaster” server. Broadcasting is based on “Unicaster Scheduler” software, which generates the schedules and regulates transmission of the views. By means of the server the views can be transmitted from the digital cameras, video cameras, web cameras and mobile phones, which allow taking the photos. .gif and .avi formats, “Flash” are acceptable.

“Unicaster” – is an entire business administration medium, which allows business representatives to create and manage whole e-business advertising cycle easily, promptly and at low costs:

  • to order and pay for an advertising campaign at any advertising channel (ACM screens, TV, mobile phones, Internet, information terminals);

  • to order one’s own advertising net and pay for the broadcasting time;

  • to master system and business management fundamentals playing the interactive games and through audiovisual means.

    An analogous live video input such as ordinary tape recorder, TV set or video camera can also be connected. The broadcasting equipment can be used not for the broadcasting of the entertainment events only. Video cameras may be mounted at the office premises, shops, on the streets in order to ensure security. Images transmitted by the video cameras can be viewed at computers’ or WAP phones’ screens via the Internet. It is advantageous for the police, too.

    In August – September 2003 for the first time by the means of “Unicaster” technology the video art project, which has no analogues in Europe, was implemented. The project was implemented by “Skynet Film Studio”, ACM and by the creational organization “Involved”. The modern Lithuanian video art was presented at the festival: the works of Jurga Barilaitë, Artûras Raila, Valdas Ozarinskis, Vida Èeponytë, Linas Jablonskis, Evaldas Jansonas.

    You may view the digital video works at the web page www.albumas.lt. If you have got a mobile phone with WAP functions, then you may view the mini-films at the phone screen having connected to wap.albumas.lt. Number of the video films’ album is 2064.

    There were many positive responses regarding the video art festival, thus ACM and “Skynet Film Studio” decided to gladden the video art admirers.
