Wincor Nixdorf is set to present its ProClassic Enterprise Cash Management software for effective and rational organization of end-to end cash management processes in banks at the Retail Delivery Show.

The use of this software module from the Retail Banking Solution Suite enables financial institutions to reduce their cash inventories, optimize replenishment schedules and thereby cut logistics costs and interest expense. On top of this, Wincor Nixdorf’s solution for cash management optimization also plays a vital role in protecting the environment, since reducing the number of CiT runs results in lower CO2 emissions.

Banks deploy this software to ensure that cash is permanently available and to optimize the costs of cash replenishment at all their cash points. The software solves complex optimization problems, taking a broad array of impact variables into account – optimization of cash inventories in branch safes, for example. Beside this, ProCash Analyzer calculates optimal cash replenishment and pick-up cycles for cash recycling systems.

Wincor Nixdorf has delivered cash process optimization software successfully to financial institutions for a number of years. Just some of the factors included in PC/A calculations are: optimal inventory levels, replenishment volumes based on average transaction size, order proposals for cash replenishment, insurance regulations governing individual inventory levels, cost optimization for cash transport and replenishment processes, and cash levels geared to public holidays and special local events, when banks expect high transaction volumes.

The solution guarantees end-to-end optimization for all cash points in the network: ATMs, conventional teller terminals, recycling systems and branch safes. One of its particular focuses lies on cash logistics. This makes it possible, for instance, to optimally manage various replenishment and pick-up concepts for different cash-in-transit operators. The solution is rounded off with support for order management, which displays current order statuses, with account reconciliation and extensive reports.

Wincor Nixdorf relies on a flexible usage concept, which is geared to the needs of its customers: banks can purchase and use the software itself or, alternatively, procure the entire cash management optimization service. In this case, consultants from Wincor Nixdorf use the program to optimize the bank’s cash cycle.
