Under the deal, Radio Zet will provide the content for the new venture while Netia, of which Sweden's Telia has 33 percent, will provide its Internet telecommunications infrastructure via its Internet subsidiary, InterNetia. "We will offer a full-range of Internet services, with Netia providing high-speed Internet
connection and Radio Zet providing valuable content," said Krzysztof Swierczynski, InterNetia head.
The portal is to be launched next month. Neither of the companies would disclose the amount of planned investment. Netia, listed on Nasdaq, plans to enter the Warsaw Stock Exchange later this year. Analysts expect strong interest in the offering among investors who cannot buy the stock abroad.
