Deutsche Bank S.p.A Italy Augments Service and Profitability via ACI's BASE24-es Software

ACI Worldwide, a leading international provider of enterprise e-payment solutions, today announced the licensing of its BASE24-es for Enhanced Authorization to Deutsche Bank S.p.A in Italy. The software will improve customer service and bank profitability by reducing the number of hardware platforms in use and providing company-wide access to a single interface for monitoring card transactions. It will also enable the bank to introduce greater flexibility in the authorization process, providing customers with more personalized service.
Deutsche Bank S.p.A in Italy includes a business division, named BankAmericard®, which specializes in electronic payments and credit cards. BankAmericard is the second largest card issuer in Italy with more than three million cards issued and a 20% market share.
ACI's BASE24-es for Enhanced Authorization provides a number of advantages for Deutsche Bank.
