ACI Worldwide, a leading international provider of enterprise e-payment solutions, today announced the licensing of its BASE24-es for Enhanced Authorization to Deutsche Bank S.p.A in Italy. The software will improve customer service and bank profitability by reducing the number of hardware platforms in use and providing company-wide access to a single interface for monitoring card transactions. Deutsche Bank S.p.A in Italy includes a business division, named BankAmericard®, which specializes in electronic payments and credit cards. BankAmericard is the second largest card issuer in Italy with more than three million cards issued and a 20% market share.
ACI's BASE24-es for Enhanced Authorization provides a number of advantages for Deutsche Bank.
