Digital World Services (DWS) has unveiled new solutions and services for the digital distribution of music, videos, pictures and texts.

The company_s set of security services comprises data preparation, digitalization, encryption, decryption and distribution. The owner of the intellectual property can be 100% sure that his goods are secure, says DWS.
Digital World Services is a joint venture between three Bertelsmann companies: BMG Storage Media, Bertelsmann Multimedia (which covers all Bertelsmann_s Internet activities, including those of AOL and Lycos Europe - the computing centers and the TCP/IP-infrastructure) and Arvato.
DWS closely co-operates with international market leaders such as InterTrust Technologies, and Reciprocal. DWS also plays an active role within the Secure Digital Music Initiative (SDMI), which launches general standards against digital music piracy.
