Web sales operations

CyberSource Corp., a developer and provider of real-time e-commerce transaction services, added the Web sales operations of 3M, Casio, Ray-Ban and Wolf Camera to its customer list. "What we are seeing in the second wave of e-commerce is many of the world_s most widely recognized consumer companies augmenting their brick and mortar operations by selling over the Internet. With long-standing brand reputations to protect, they demand the highest levels of payment processing and fraud screening," said Evan Ellis, CyberSource vice president of North American Field Operations. CyberSource offers its Internet Commerce Suite, a portfolio of e-commerce services from which customers select options on a per-transaction basis, including payment, tax, risk management, distribution control and fulfillment management services. Other major customers include Beyond.com, BUY.COM, Compaq Computer, Egghead.com, Fawcette Technical Publications, MarketWatch.com, Remedy and Shopping.com.
